I would like to take a moment to remind all of our members just how important it is to keep your contact information updated. Any time you move your residence, change your phone number, or get a new e-mail address, we need to know.
For your convenience, there is a change of address form on our website in the forms and application section. This form can be printed and faxed to us at 912-354-8983. Please remember to include your signature on the form.
Updating this information is especially important if you have a debit card. Falcon, the company that monitors your debit card activity, will try to contact you if there is any activity on your account that is out of the ordinary for your particular account history. If they are unable to contact you, your card will be blocked until you can be reached. This may prove to be very inconvenient in some cases. It only takes a moment to update and will save you a lot of time and trouble in the long run. Updating your e-mail address will insure that you can access your e-statements, online banking and to be able to receive important e-mails from Memorial Health Credit Union.
Equally important is the designation of one or more beneficiaries. It never hurts to be prepared for the inevitable. Having a beneficiary or a joint account holder listed on your account will make things so much easier for your family in the event of your death. Information regarding your beneficiaries must include their Social Security numbers and birth dates to be in compliance with the U.S. Patriot Act.
