Regular Savings
When you become a member of the credit union a savings account is opened in your name. An initial deposit of $5.00 is required. All members must maintain a $5.00 balance in their savings account to remain a member, and demonstrate regular activity in their account to keep it open.
Other features of Regular Savings include:
- A competitive interest rate paid quarterly on the average daily balance in your savings account.
- Withdrawals: To withdraw money from your savings account, simply stop by the credit union or call our office. Members may make up to four savings withdrawals per quarter free of charge. After four withdrawals in one quarter a $5 charge per excessive withdrawal is applied.
- Quarterly statements by mail or electronically.
- Payroll deduction: You may have deposits to your savings account deducted directly from your paycheck.
Special Savings
At Memorial Health Credit Union, you can open a Christmas Club account and save for that special time of year. The Club year runs from November 1st through October 31 the following year. Withdrawals during the club year will be assessed a $10.00 fee per withdrawal. If a Club account is closed prior to the end of the Club year a $10.00 fee is assessed.

Features included in the Vacation Account include:
- One withdrawal per quarter is allowed at no charge. A $5.00 fee will be assessed per withdrawal after the the first per quarter.

Share Certificates
You can open a Regular Share Certificate with a minimum balance of $500. Certificates are available with terms of 6 months to 24 months.
Features of our Share Certificates include:
- A fixed dividend for the term of the certificate.
- Competitive dividend rates. Offered rates may change periodically.
- Substantial penalties for early withdrawal. The penalty is 3 months’ dividends or the accrued dividend, whichever is smaller.
